MERITORIOUS SERVICE AWARDo - Under the provisions of paragraph 10, Civil
Air Patrol Regulation 35-1*5 the Meritorious Service Award for outstanding
meritorious service during the periods, as indicated, is awarded to the followingnamed personnel;
MASTER SERGEANT GORDON D, CLARK, CAP 231033, New Castle Squadron,
Delaware Wing, CAP, is awarded the Civil Air Patrol Meritorious Service
Award for outstanding perfonaance ©f duty during the period 1 July to
23 October 1955. In addition to his regular duties SERGEANT CLARK helped
prepare mobile and radio equipment for a training SARCAP, working we^ends
and during summer vacationo SERCEANT CIARK'S performance and leadership
reflect much credit on himself and Civil Air Patrol,
CADET PRIVATE FIRST CLASS JAY S, KELLY, CAPC 23-377, New Castle
Squadron, Delaware Wing, CAP, is awarded the Civil Air Patrol Meritorious
Sftrvice Award for outstanding performance of dnty during -the period 1 July
to 23 October 1955© In addition to his regular duties CADET KELLY aided in
the instalment of radio and telephone equipment in the squadron K-60 and
assisted in preparing equipment for a squadron SARCAP. CADET KELLY'S
W leadership and ability reflect much credit on himself and Civil Air Patrol.
