i. On the reverse side of this sheet is a list of
manufacturers who hays in their possession over (88,000) eightyeight thousand yards of Army rejected material that may be suitable
to make uniforms for Civil Air Patrol members.
2. This material was rejected by the C~uartermaster
Inspectors because it did not meet the rigid standards of the Army
specifications. Howeverj this material is understood to be very
slightly less desirable than goods able to pass the strict Quartermaster's requirements.
3. I suggest that you ask the listed manufacturers for
a sample of each material. In the event that any of the goods can
be utilized by you, it is advised that you place your order direct
with the factory for the number of yards you desire.
4 . Yo u a r e a u t h o r i z e d u n d e r t b e p r i o r i t y r e g u l a t i o n s t o
extend on your pumchase order a rating of A'IO for the procurement
of this material.
