Service Cap for Civil Air Patrol uniform
To:
All UnitCommanders
All Base and Station Con~nandcrs
i. From this date, all Civil Air Patrol officers
and enlisted personnel are authorized to wear the U. S.
Army service cap (with visor), providing the regulation
Civil Air Patrol cap disc insignia is worn in place of
the Army crest.
2. Under no circumstances ~vill the crest cap
insignia worn by either commissioned or enlisted personnel
of the Army be worn on the Civil Air Patrol cap.
