your CAN identlfic~tion car~, to purchase uniforms au~ equipment
from any Post ~xchamge, Army Exchange Service or authorized Army
Service store at your own expense.
2. Winter uniforms for ~men Civil Air Patrol members
are to be the ~me s~ the winter uniforms for men, except with

Design of buttons will not be similar to that preeeribe~ for

Sleeve braid on officersI uniforms and background for grade insignia,
enlisted men. tO he of the same as shoulder loops.
~ivil Air Patrol shoulder patch designed by the Office of the Quartermaster General, to be worn on the outer half of the left sleeve
one-half inch below ~houlder seam.

Silver letters "CAP" to replace the letters "US" worn on the lapel of
Air Force Unlforme.

Silver wing-and-propeller lapel insignia to replace the gold and
silver wing~and-prcpeller insignia worn on Air Force uniforms.

Silver pilot and observer insignia de~gne~ bF the Office of the
Quartermaster General for Civil Air Patrol to be worn on left breast
instead of Air Force pilot and observer insignia.

g.

Black and gold piping will not be used on the garrison (overseas) sap.
