Civil Air Patrol Membership Requirements for All
Command, Staff and other Officers.
All Unit Commanders.

i. It has come to the attention of this Headquarters that there are command, staff, and other offices of the
Civil Air Patrol occupied by individuals from whom applications
for enrollment have not yet been received. Effective immediately no person who is nct a qualified member of the Civil Air
Patrol will be appointed to any duty or position listed in the
Ta b l e o f O r g a n i z a t i o n o r o t h e r w i s e p e r m i t t e d t o r e c e i v e t h e
privileges of membership in the Civil Air Patrol.
2. Effective May i, 1942, every office occupied by
a non-member appointee will be vacated and such appointment
will be voided.
3. Instructions for the fingerprinting of all personnel of Civil Air Patrol offices, including volunteer workers
and non-member employees, are contained in letter C~.~-lS, National
Headquarters, March 2, 1942, Subject, "Fingerprinting of%vil
Air Patrol Applicants and Personnel," to a~ Wing Cc~ers.
