1, A number of active duty assignments are now available
for mechanics, radio technicians, service technicians, and security
t e c h n i c i a n s i n C A P To w Ta r g e t U n i t s s t a t i o n e d o n b o t h t h e A t l a n t i c
and Pacific Coasts as a result of personnel losses through Selective
Service induction and through the calling to active duty of Air Corps
Enlisted

Reservists*

2* CAP To^7 Target Units function under the provisions of
Operations Directives No, 41 and No. 42, this Headquarters, 1 January
1944.

3» Appointments are limited to qualified CAP personnel v/ho
have attained their 38th birthday or v7ho have Selective Service Classi

fications of 4-F and are available for periods of ninety (90) days or
more,

4. Active duty applications (CAP Form No, 624) from any
qualified personnel v/ho are interested in such assignments should be
forwarded to National Headquarters at once.

5# V/ing Commanders are requested to for'ward copies of this
memorandum to all units of their command.
