SUBJECT: AAF'LIAISON TYPE AIRCRAFT
TO:
WING COMMANDERS
1, Reference Para. 2 a (2) OD #40 Orientation Flights
a r e d i r e c t e d t o b e o f a b o u t 1 5 m i n u t e s d u r a t i o n . Yo u w i l l
iminediately issue instructions to your Unit Comirianders that
this directive is to be complied with.
2. Civil aircraft volunteered by their owners for use
in the Cadet Recruitment Program are not elif^ible to use
AAF Forms #15 in procuring gasoline. It has been reported
by Supply Division, Air Ser^i^ce Command Headquarters that
these forms are being received by them for payment bearing
commercial numbers. You will instruct your Unit Commanders
that this practice is to stop immediately,
3» You are requested to call the attention of all your
Unit Commanders to Para. 26 OD #40 since above aircraft are
subject to withdrav/al by the Army upon evidence of their
improper use or violation of the regulations covering their
care and maintenance.
