Aircraft Fuel and Oil Supply for Government Airplanes Assigned to
Civil

Air

Patrol

All Wing, Group and Squadron Commanders

1. Attached hereto is copy of letter dated 27 January 194^ from

Headquarters, Air Service Command to National Headquarters, Civil Air Patrol,
subject as above, which is forwarded for the information of all concerned,
N 2, Fuel and oil will be issued to AAF .Liaison Aircraft assigned to
Civil Air Patrol, as follows;
a. Stores Charge, AAF Form 81 will be used v/hen such fuel and oil

are obtained at AAF or ASC installations,

b. When AAF Liaison Aircraft operated by CAP are engaged in areas
not adjacent to Army air fields, aircraft fuel and oil may be obtained on

AAF Form 15 when CAP pilot is so authorized by his Squadron, Group or
Wing Commander,

(1) Form 15 will be signed in quadruplicate by CAP pilot
Y/hen making such purchase,

(2) The original must be in indelible peAcil, inlc, or
t y p e w r i t e r,

(3) The original, bearing pilot's and vendor's signatures,
and two carbon copies will be forwarded through channels

to the V/ing Operations Officer for approval and signa
ture, and then submitted by Wing Headquarters to nearest
AAF Purchasing Contract Officer for processing to Area
F i n a n c e O f fi c e r,

(/+) The quadruplicate copy will be given to the vendor
time of purchase.
