Subject: Active Duty Emblems
All Unit Commenders
I. The following emblems for active duty .have been desig~..ed
by the Office of the Quartermaster General which may be worn by
personnel who have served or are servin~ on any of the following active
duty missions:
Coastal Patrol

2. The above el.blems are replacing the "V" insignia that
was formerly worn on the left forearm. These emblems are to be
worn on the left sleeve 2~" from the top of the cuff on shirts, end
2~" above braid on sleeve of officers blouse. The above emblems
consist of a black satin square, I~" by 1 3/~" with design
embroidered in gold-colored thread.

Orders should be in the amount of $2.00 or more, chock or money
order to accompany same.
A. A gold-colored thread service stripe may also be
secured from the same source for 2~# each. It may be worn by those
having served six months or more, one stripe for each six months'
