Pilots assigned to the above duty will serve until
properly relieved, and will not be so relieved until after the mini

mum time of service has expired.

3. This extension of time on duty is considered important
by the Commanding Officers of the Army Units under whom these pilots
are serving, and only in an emergency should an application for a
pilot's..relief from duty be made before the minimum duty time has
expired.
