.2. Min'unum. Stren~h
The minimum authorize~ aggregate strength for Civil
Air'Patrul Squadrons is hereby announced as 50, effective May
15, 1942. Prior to such date, Squadrons having an enrollmezt
of less than 50 may be recruited up to this minimum stren~h ~u~
retain.their identity as Squadrons. Otherwise,. on that date,
they will ~e.reorganizsd as Flights ant attached to the nearest
SquaAron ~n thei= respective Wings.

.Henceforth, all.. enrollments in the Civil Air Patrol
will be limited to Pilots, Observers, Mechanics, Radio Operators,
Radio Mechanics, and Parachute Ri~gers except when, in the
w p ~ I n ~ a u . o f t h e U n i t C o m m a n d e r, t h e e n r o l l m e n t o f o t h e r s p e c i a l IQts is neceeBary tO meet operating requirements.
