INTRODUCTION
The
year
2015
began
with
a
change
of
command
for
the
Tennessee
Wing
of
the
Civil
Air
Patrol.
Col.
Bill
Lane,
who
had
served
as
Wing
Commander,
stepped
aside
and
Col.
Arlinda
Bailey,
his
former
Wing
Vice-‐Commander
took
over
the
position
of
Commander.
Col
Lane
has
graciously
remained
as
advisor
to
the
Commander
plus
taking
on
the
job
of
fund
raiser
for
the
wing.
The
Wing

The
storm
began
February
15
and
produced
a
level
3
state
of
emergency
during
the
week
it
raged
through
middle
Tennessee.
TN
CAP
provided
1,000
hours
or
more
than
150
volunteer
days
of
disaster
recovery
in
6
or
the
35
impacted
counties
in
Tennessee.
Calls
for
aid
were
repeated
over
a
2
month
period
of
time.
The
relief
was
integrated
with
TEMA
and
other
agencies
and
was
concluded
April
11-‐12.
